Resonance Glyndwr Team

Well here we are...

This is the team that I have selected to lead the Glyndwr Resonance project in partnership with the Resonance project

So from left to right we have Jeni Clegg (Photography & Costumes),
Alan Whitfield(Producer), Graham Copper (Director) and
Hollie Harmsworth (Co-Director)

We had some tough Competition to work our way through for the auditions with Fourteen people applying for the Four parts we had available. Here is the final four we Selected

                                                                    Jack Cornes, TT

Drey Adejumo, K
                                                                                                                       Rachel Noble, Anita Skansen

                                     Antonia Oakes, The Dark Man

Monday Morning (15/12/10) was our first full script run through off the back of the auditions. I feel the better you know the people you are working with the more productive you can be. Everyone was really keen and there seemed to be a good flow to proceedings.

So we thought it would be really important to get the team together. We had a brief chat with Jack Crones about his experience so far

"Resonance is a very exciting project. The concept sounds brilliant and to be playing the role of TT in Glyndwr's Resonance teaser remake is really thrilling.

I am a big fan of Science - Fiction and it's great to be involved with a project dealing with this topic. I can't wait to start filming this teaser next year as I'm
working with some very lovely and talented people and its going to be a great experience."

We ran through the script with everyone playing their characters. Here's a Interview with Alan and Graham

So we need to re-group again after Christmas to set out our stall with what we want to do next. Myself and Graham will be visiting some filming locations over the festive break.

Excited and it's not even Christmas...

A very busy week in dubious weather over here in Wales. The Glyndwr Resonance train is ploughing through the snow and ready to pull into it first station. Auditions for the selected few will be on Wednesday 8th December in the afternoon.

This week we went to watch Glyndwr University adaptation of Christmas Carol featuring the excellent Jack Cornes as Scrooge. Jack was brilliant he really delivered, enchanting in many ways...

Also from viewing the play we have approached three more people to audition on Wednesday, we have a busy day ahead of us...

On Thursday we visited the the Rhydymwyn site for a induction to join the trust of the site, where we plan to film Glyndwr Resonance. The 1940's disused second world war Mustard Gas Factory now owned by DEFRA, it is a great location that will do our planning and thought pattern the justice it deserves.

Now we have selected our film crew we had the opportunity to film to film a Flash Mob event in North Wales at the Llangollen International Pavilion. This would test for the first time are organisational skills and how we deal with working on the fly at a live event. The challenges came thick and fast to be fair, but through excellent teamwork we overcame the challenges presented by the location.

We were pleased as a group with the overhaul event from our point of view. We had three cameras: one roving in among the crowd, one at the rear of the pavilion fixed for the wide shot, and a camera and track upfront for the close up shots. We also photographed the event. There were two flash mob events to the same song so we will have 6 different perspectives to enhance the final edit of the promotional video for the New Dance team.
